Our clients approached us with a compelling vision to enhance their existing home by extending the gable ends, transforming the property into a versatile space that could be enjoyed throughout the entire year. Originally, the home featured two prominent gable ends: one adjoining the kitchen and dining area, and the other connected to the main lounge. Recognising the potential to create a seamless flow between these key living spaces, we designed an extension that elegantly elongated both gable roof lines.

These extended gable ends were thoughtfully linked by a stunning timber-slatted feature ceiling, which not only adds an architectural element but also creates an inviting atmosphere for entertaining. This innovative design integrates indoor and outdoor living, fostering a harmonious connection between the kitchen, dining, and living areas.

To further enhance the aesthetic and structural integrity of the extension, we incorporated two striking architectural trusses. These trusses serve as both a visual focal point and a crucial element of the design, beautifully complementing the overall look while providing additional support. The result is an amazing space that encourages gatherings, making it perfect for hosting family and friends year-round.
